Cancellation, Refund & Reservation Policy

Welcome to Shauryawada Resorts. This Cancellation, Refund & Reservation Policy applies to all bookings made directly through our website, telephone, WhatsApp, email, or any other direct booking channel operated by Shauryawada Resorts and its associated properties.

Bookings made through third-party platforms such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Airbnb, or similar travel portals shall be governed by the respective platform’s cancellation and refund policies.


1. Booking Confirmation

All online reservations require full payment at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon by the management.

For offline reservations, an advance payment may be accepted. The minimum advance amount is generally 20% of the total booking value. Refunds for offline bookings may be subject to mutual discussion and management approval depending on the nature of the reservation.


2. Standard Cancellation Policy (Bookings Below 15 Guests)

For individual and small group bookings involving fewer than 15 guests, the following refund structure applies:

3. Group Bookings, Events & Special Reservations

The following bookings are considered special reservations:

  • Group bookings involving more than 15 guests
  • Corporate events
  • Weddings and wedding-related functions
  • Day picnic packages
  • Weekend-exclusive reservations
  • Public holiday bookings
  • Festival bookings
  • Long weekend reservations
  • Special event packages

For such bookings, management reserves the right to determine the final refund amount based on the nature of the reservation, resources allocated, and losses incurred.

As a general guideline:

  • Cancellation 45 days or more before the event date: Up to 50% refund
  • Cancellation between 15 and 45 days before the event date: Up to 20% refund
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before the event date: No refund

The final decision of Shauryawada Resorts management shall be binding in such cases.


4. No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior written communication or approved modification of the reservation, the booking shall be treated as a No-Show.

No refund shall be provided for No-Show reservations.


5. Date Changes & Rescheduling

Guests may request a change of dates subject to:

  • Availability of rooms, villas, cottages, or event spaces
  • Submission of request at least 5 to 7 days before arrival
  • Approval by resort management

No rescheduling charges will generally apply. However, guests may be required to pay any applicable rate difference, seasonal surcharge, room upgrade charge, or package upgrade fee.

All date modification requests remain subject to availability and management approval.


6. Resort-Initiated Cancellation

In rare situations where Shauryawada Resorts is unable to honor a reservation due to circumstances such as:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Safety concerns
  • Maintenance emergencies
  • Operational disruptions

the resort may, at its discretion:

  • Provide a full refund
  • Offer alternative dates
  • Issue a credit voucher for future use

The option provided will depend on the specific circumstances at the time.


7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds shall generally be processed within 7 business days or more from the date of approval.

Actual credit timelines may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, UPI providers, and financial institutions.


8. Refund Method

Refunds may be processed through Bank transfer, UPI transfer, QR-based payment transfer, or other approved payment methods as determined by management.

The refund method will be selected based on operational feasibility and verification requirements.


9. Force Majeure

Shauryawada Resorts shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, closures, or inability to provide services resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to floods, heavy rainfall, natural calamities, pandemics, epidemics, government orders, travel restrictions, civil disturbances, and utility failures.

In such situations, refunds may be withheld, adjusted, postponed, or converted into future stay credits until government restrictions are lifted and the actual extent of losses incurred by the resort can be reasonably assessed.


10. Management Rights

  • Modify this policy at any time without prior notice
  • Refuse bookings that violate resort rules
  • Determine exceptions in extraordinary circumstances
  • Make final decisions regarding disputes, cancellations, and refund requests

Management decisions shall be considered final and binding.
